A :

Certainly, one can enter into the music programme as long as he/she meets the academic requirements and passes the performance audition. This is commonly the case for students who have been playing in high school bands, churches and so on.

Depending on the musical styles and instruments of interest, a music graduate’s income can be generated by:

• Performing:
  Soloist, Accompanist, Orchestral / Chamber Musician, Recording or Live Performance Sessionist, Lounge Musician

• Composing/Arranging:
  Advertisement Jingles, Film Scoring, Publishing Orchestral Works, Commercial Productions

I’m not from Kuching, what are my options for accomodation?
